هميشه براتون عجيب بوده که آرمهاي شرکتها چه معني اي ميدن و چه مفهومي پشت اونا نهفته است؟
ديگه عجيب نخواهد بود!

You might think the arrow does nothing here. But it says that amazon.com has everything from a to z and it also represents the smile brought to the customer's face. Wow, that is quite deep.

ممکنه فکر کنيد اين فلش اينجا هيچ کاري نمي کنه. ولي اون داره ميگه آمازون همه چيز داره از a تا z و همچنين لبخندي که بر چهره مشتري مي نشينه رو نشون ميده. (و دو تا حرف a هم مثل دوتا چشماي مشتري مي مونه!) اوه! واقعاً عميقه.

Eighty-20 is a small consulting company which does sophisticated financial modeling, as well as some solid database work. All their work is highly quantitative and relies on some serious computational power, and the logo is meant to convey it.
People first guess that 20% of the squares are darkened, but that turns out to be false after counting them. The trick is to view the dark squares as 1's and the light squares as 0's. Then the top line reads 1010000 and the bottom line reads 0010100, which represent 80 and 20 in binary.
Kinda like the surreal green screen of The Matrix, they want us to read stuff in binary

Eighty-20 (هشتاد - بيست) يک شرکت مشاور کوچک هست که مدلسازي مالي در سطح بالا رو، به خوبي کار برخي پايگاههاي اطلاعاتي قوي انجام ميده. همه کار آنها خيلي وابسته به مقدار هست و بر پايه قدرت برخي الگوريتم هاي مهم تکيه داره، و آرم شرکت براي رساندن اين مفهوم در نظر گرفته شده.
ممکنه مردم اول فکر کنن 20% مربع ها سياه شدن، ولي بعد از شمردن معلوم ميشه که اشتباهه. رمزش تو اينه که خونه هاي سياه رو 1 و خونه هاي سفيد رو 0 در نظر بگيريم. اونوقت خط بالايي خونده ميشه 1010000 و خط پاييني خونده ميشه 0010100 که 80 و 20 رو در مبناي دو نشون ميدن.

Am not sure how many of you have noticed a hidden symbol in the Federal Express logo.
Yeah, I am talking about the 'arrow' that you can see between the E and the x in this logo. The arrow was introduced to underscore speed and precision, which are part of the positioning of the company.

مطمئن نيستم چند تا از شما متوجه علامت مخفي در آرم Federal Express شديد.
بله، دارم در مورد فلشي که مي تونيد بين حرف E و x توي اين آرم ببينيد صحبت مي کنم. (فضاي خالي بين دو حرف - فلش سفيد) اين فلش، تأکيد بر سرعت و دقت  رو نشون ميده، که بخشي از تثبيت موقعيت شرکت هست.

This was a logo designed in-house for some internal event at IBM. I like that they are quite relaxed about the logo, unlike certain other companies who do not like the logo to be tampered with in any way even for internal promotions.

اين يک آرم  براي رويدادهاي داخلي آي بي ام هست. خوشم مياد که اونا در مورد آرم واقعاً راحتن، برخلاف برخي از شرکتهاي ديگه که دوست ندارن آرم به هيچ وجه تحريف بشه حتي  براي توسعه داخلي.

The SUN Microsystems logo is a wonderful example of symmetry and order. It was a brilliant observation that the letters u and n while arranged adjacent to each other look a lot like the letter S in a perpendicular direction. Spectacular.

آرم Sun Microsystems يک مثال خارق العاده از تقارن و سبک معماريه!  اين يک نظر زيرکانه است که حروف u و n وقتي کنار هم گذاشته ميشن خيلي شبيه حرف S به صورت عمودي ميشن. (و بعد از اين حرف S مجازي دو حرف ديگه Sun يعني u و n رو در جهت درست مي بينيد از هر طرف که نگاه کنيد!) معرکه است!

The above are two magazines from the Readers Digest stable. Again, the attempt to communicate what it is about quite figuratively through the logo catches my attention.

اينها دو مجله از Readers Digest Stable هستن. باز هم، تلاش براي بيان اينکه درباره چي هستن بصورت تصويري در آرم، نظر من رو جلب کرد.

This was a logo created for a puzzle game called Cluenatic. This game involves unravelling four clues. The logo has the letters C, L, U and E arranged as a maze. and from a distance, the logo looks like a key.

اين آرم براي يک بازي معمايي به نام Cluenatic ساخته شده. اين بازي چهار گوي رو که بايد آزاد بشن، گير مياندازه. آرم، حروف C، L، U و E رو بصورت يک مارپيچ چيده و از دور هم شبيه يک کليد هست.

This logo is too good. For the name Eight, they have used a font in which each letter is a minor adaptation of the number 8.

اين آرم خيلي خوبه! براي کلمه Eight، اونا فونتي رو استفاده کردن که توش هر حرف انطباق کوچکي از عدد 8 هست.
